Ava is mobile now. And she has a sharp memory. You think the ol' out of sight out of mind trick will work, but oh, no! She is on to that. There is now nothing safe. We've baby proofed a little, but the dogs were totally blind sided.
Take poor Lola for example. Lola is not a fetch dog, nor a huge toy dog. But every now and then she latches on to one item and loves on it for weeks. For a while it was this football, which some how meet an unfortunate demise. Lola morned.

Petty theift
When I was pregnant it was this baby doll that adorned my work baby shower cake. Lola knew she wasn't supposed to have it so she'd track it down and hide.
But she just loved it so much that her sweet little face won out and it was hers. She carried it around so gently for months.
Now it's a baseball that has mysteriously appeared. Ava one day happened to notice said baseball and decided she wanted it. What Ava wants Ava gets. She showed no fear and bravely went to fetched her prize despite it being in the jaws of a Rottweiler.
Poor Lola is just besides herself and when she sees her humans are going to be of no help.
She takes matters into her own hands and figures out a way to subdue a wiggly baby.
Round one: Lola- 1, Ava- 0.

Those are my nephews on the swing. I'm not too sure why the swing was even out with that many people in the backyard. Its a big tire! I saw those boys take out several unsuspecting guest.
Ava and Aunt Angie
Ava and a very ammusing Aunt Katie
Of course Ava and Daddy. See that dress? My Mom made it. Pretty cute huh? Too bad it was so cold and Ava had to have Daddy layer her.
Ava and Austin
